TendoNova was a virtual startup with a prototype of a rechargable battery operated device for treating tendon problems that was hosted at the Norcross Diligent facility starting in September 2020. Tooling costs were reduced from an initial estimate of $750,000 down to about $100,000. FDA regulatory work included 60601-1,2, sterility for a disposable product, human factors, packaging, production, etc. FDA submission was made in 9 months and the product was cleared 9 months later.

Diligent continued to support TendoNova up through the end of 2023 with consulting and is currently providing lab equipment and other support for TendoNova.
